Privacy Policy
Dimaco Printing and Mailing LLC ("Dimaco", "we", "us") is a direct mail and commercial printing company in Carrollton, Texas. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
1. Two kinds of data we handle
Website and business contact data. Information you give us when you request a quote, contact us, upload files, order through Print Central, or do business with us as a customer or vendor. We are the controller of this data.
Client mailing data. Names, addresses, and other list data our clients send us so we can print and mail on their behalf. We process this data only on our client's instructions, as a service provider. If you received a mail piece from one of our clients, the client decides how your data is used; see section 8 for how to reach us anyway.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us: name, company, email address, phone number, mailing address, project details, artwork and files you upload, order and billing history, and the content of your messages to us.
Automatically, through our website: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and advertising identifiers (such as Google Ads click IDs and UTM parameters) so we can measure which campaigns bring visitors to us. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking for this.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
3. How we use it
To respond to your request, prepare quotes, produce and ship your order, invoice you, provide customer support, improve our website and services, and, where you have asked for it or we have an existing business relationship, send you information about our services. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the form below or the unsubscribe link in any email.
Client mailing data is used solely to produce the mailing the client ordered: address standardization (CASS), move updates (NCOA), presorting, printing, and USPS entry. It is not used for our own marketing, not added to any list we own, and not shared with other clients.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with service providers that help us run our business, under contract and only as needed: the United States Postal Service and USPS-licensed data services for address processing, shipping carriers, payment processors, our web hosting and email providers, our IT and security vendors, and professional advisors. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
5. How we protect it
Dimaco maintains a SOC 2 Type 2 program covering the Security and Confidentiality trust services criteria, independently audited each year. Controls include access restricted to staff who need it for their job, multi-factor authentication, encrypted transmission, endpoint protection and monitoring, vulnerability scanning, written incident response and data classification policies, and secure destruction of physical and electronic media when a job is complete. A copy of our current SOC 2 report is available to clients under NDA on request.
6. How long we keep it
Business contact and order records are kept as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Client mailing data is retained only for the period needed to complete and support the mailing, then securely deleted according to our Data Classification, Security and Destruction Policy, unless the client instructs us to keep it for repeat mailings.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act) may give you additional rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To make a request, use the form in section 8, email csr@directmailcompany.com, or call (972) 242-2427. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our response.
If your request concerns a mailing you received from one of our clients, we will forward it to that client and, where we still hold the data, delete your record from the job file.
8. Submit a data deletion or access request
Requests submitted here are logged with a reference number and tracked until they are closed.
9. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google's advertising personalization, visit adssettings.google.com.
